David is a lifelong resident of Sedalia MO, and founded Impact Signs Awnings Wraps, Inc. in 1997. He has an extensive background in business & management – and has worked in the sign industry in some capacity for well over 20 years. David has served on the Missouri Sign Association for many years, and currently holds the position of Director. He is also the Vice- President / President Elect of the Tri-State Sign Association. (Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma) David stays active in his community – helping many charitable organizations, has previously served as an Ambassador for the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce, President of his homeowners association, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Human Services.
In David’s spare time – he enjoys spending time with family, managing his son’s traveling competitive baseball team, being crew chief for his daughter’s race car, utilizing his season tickets for Mizzou Men’s Basketball, and attending as many 360/410 sprint car races as possible.
Julie was born in Kansas City MO, and raised in Warsaw MO. She moved to Sedalia in 1991, and began her career in the banking / financial industry. In 2004, she left her position as a Branch Office Administrator for Edward Jones Investments to join her husband (David) in the sign business. Julie stays busy with the daily operations of the company, handles many special projects, and serves as the Chief Financial Officer. She also assists with many community activities. She has served on the planning committee for the Annual Children’s Therapy Center Golf Tournament & Ladies Luncheon for many years, volunteers at the Community Café, serves on the Parent Advisory Committee for the Sedalia School District, and helps with many area charitable organizations. Julie has previously served as a Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador. She is also the team Secretary for her son’s competitive baseball team.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Watching her daughter race and her son play baseball have proven to be her favorite past times. Julie also likes to travel, go to sprint car races, Mizzou Men’s Basketball games, and Kansas City Royals Baseball games.
Columbia Branch Manager/Sales
DeWayne was raised in the Jefferson City MO area, and graduated from University of Central Missouri in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with additional studies in marketing and graphic design. At an early age, his father taught him the art of hand lettering, and DeWayne began his career in the sign business – painting signs, trucks & billboards while attending high school and college. He has worked full time in the sign industry for over 30 years – joining the Impact team in 2012, as the Columbia branch manager.
In his spare time, DeWayne enjoys fishing, golf, and playing music…. (emphasis on fishing!)
Evan was born in Seaside, CA at Fort Ord Army Base. The family later relocated to Sedalia MO – where he graduated from Smith Cotton High School. Evan began doing graphic design while in high school. He has a vast knowledge of all industry software, including CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe AfterEffects, Flexi, Enroute, Pinnacle Studio, & Omnivex / Moxie. Evan has experience in programming all forms of electronic / full color video displays. He takes care of all in house programming of displays, and also does onsite training for our customers who purchase these units. He is a certified 3M preferred installer – with over 10 years of experience with graphics & wraps.
In his spare time, Evan enjoys spending time with his wife & two daughters, playing the guitar, combat sports videography, and astronomy.
Claud was born and raised in Fulton, MO. He graduated from Fulton High School and attended the University of Missouri for two years; before beginning his career in the sign industry in 1978. For the past 37 years, Claud has actively worked in the sign business in the Columbia MO area. He has a vast knowledge of all aspects of the industry – specializing in sales, national account management, estimating, and engineered sign drawings.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, riding horses, and playing guitar (semi-professionally at one time … now just for fun)
Anne was born and raised in the northern area of Pettis County MO. She graduated from Northwest High School, and continued her education at State Fair Community College. Anne had spent the last 17 years working at various financial institutions; most recently as Vice President of Operations / Interim President for a credit union in Kansas City MO. In 2013, she joined the Impact team as a project manager. Since that time, Anne has been promoted to operations manager; still overseeing project management.
She keeps busy with her two children – and in her spare time enjoys all sporting events, specifically sprint car racing. Anne is currently the director of the Miss Pettis County Pageant, is very active in her church, and volunteers at numerous charity organizations.
Operations Manager – Columbia
Cheri was born in Clinton MO, and raised on a farm in rural Bates County. Upon graduating from Ballard High School, she attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, and obtained a BA in Radio/TV/Film/Creative Writing & Drama. After moving out of the area for a short period of time, Cheri moved back to Columbia in 1987 to embarq on a career in the sign business, and has been “at home” in the industry ever since. She joined the Impact team in 2014; bringing with her 28 years of sign industry experience.
In her spare time, Cheri enjoys cooking, baking, working in her yard, and spending time with her two adult children.
